Hemos conocido poco a poco (y pocos a pocos…) a los dos protagonistas de la historia; hemos conseguido ver lo diferentes que son y lo complicado que se les va a hacer llegar a conseguir lo que buscan, pero…por cierto, ¿qué buscan?
Ya vamos llegando a lo que sin duda ha cuajado más de esta trama a lo largo del tiempo, a lo que todo el mundo piensa cuando se habla de Romeo y Julieta: EL AMOR. Pero, ¿qué tipo de amor sienten ellos? ¿qué enamoramiento es éste?
Fijaos en Romeo, ¿es fiable Romeo hablando de amor a Julieta usando las mismas fórmulas que tan sólo horas antes había utilizado con otra dama? ¿es sincero? ¿es real? Quizá es sólo, como Benvolio deja caer, que Romeo está enamorado del amor, de ese sentimiento idílico y bohemio…y no de nadie en particular..
¿Y Julieta? ¿Cómo puede caer rendida ante un hombre que acaba de conocer y que, usando ese lenguaje tan artificial, tan sólo pretende besarla en el primer minuto? ¿Cómo es que Julieta suena tan…”fría” antes de ese beso, y hasta en su forma de describirlo? : “you kiss by th’ book“. Pensadlo un poco: ¿es esa forma de describir un beso? ¿hay algo menos teórico y más difícil de describir y escribir que un beso?
En fin, todo apunta a que el amor entre Romeo y Julieta, responde más bien a la casualidad que hace que dos personas “programadas”, “predispuestas” a enamorarse se encuentren en el mismo sitio y en el mismo momento…o no? o es amor verdadero?
Amor? Enamoramiento? Deseo de lo prohibido? Casualidad? Vosotros diréis…(y gracias por decirlo…)

I just am here to say I stay here , I keep on reading despite of my not writing.
I promise i´m gonna write more about the play next days.
The same I say, Happy New Year, I hope. It´d be a good idea that one of our aims in 2010 consists of writing here frequently. Above all these next days won´t be full of exams (I su+pose)…
To tell the truth I haven´t “put aside my ¿battery?” in Christmas and I have already read “Romeo and Juliet”, in my version. To be honest I have to tell that the end has surprised me. Really, I used to know that ,finally, they die but I dind´t know all this about Friar Laurence and the poison…
Maybe, I agree with that which says that Romeo falls in love of the own love…(I don´t really know how to express it) instead of that cute person called Juliet. But, on the other hand, we know that Romeo drinks the poison to be with her forever…so what would it mean? Is he in love with Juliet or with that strong feeling?
Well, I´m not going write anymore. I don´t want to ruin your impatience, caused by this romantic novel…=)

yo no suelo escribir mucho en este blog, pero lo leo todo los dias que puedo
yo al respecto del amor de romeo hacia julieta, solo quiero decir que en mi opinion las primeras palabras de amor que dice romeo a julieta, no es que sean de amor de verdadero, solo que poco a poco romeo se enamora completamente de julieta al cabo de la obra.
yo creo que ambos se enamoran el uno del otro porque es un amor imposible, por que no pueden estar juntos porque sus familias estan enemistadas, pero poco a poco el amor rompe barreras y los protagosnistas consiguen estas juntos aunque luego el final de su amor sea tragico.

We’re talking about love but did they know each other? Can we fall in love even if we don’t know the other person?

I think Romeo went to talk with Juliet to forget his pain for the impossible love that he was living. And finally, he felt in love, and Juliet too. I didn´t finish yet the book, but I hope the families of Romeo and Juliet stop fihgting.
this book make me thing some questions…
Is this a real love? how can they know that the other person feels the same?… meaby when I finish to read, I will understand it..
